Johnathan C. Gaskin is the founding member of Flowers and Gaskin Attorneys at Law, P.C. and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2006.
Mr. Gaskin has experience in trying complex cases both in State and Federal Courts. In 2007, Mr. Gaskin became a member of the Bar to practice law in the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. There he continues to practice and represent his clients in the area of Civil and Criminal Appeals, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death. In March 2011, Mr. Gaskin became a member of the Bar to practice law in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and in January 2012 he became a member to the Bar to practice law in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.
In 1999, Mr. Gaskin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Armstrong Atlantic State University. During that time, Mr. Gaskin interned with the District Attorney’s Office for the Atlantic Judicial Circuit of Georgia and initiated the intern program which now allows undergraduate students to intern with the Investigators of the States District Attorney’s Offices.
In 2001, Mr. Gaskin Attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan. In his third year attendance, Mr. Gaskin returned to the District Attorney’s Office for the Atlantic Judicial Circuit to practice as an Assistant District Attorney under the third Year Practice Act. In December 2004. Mr. Gaskin obtained his Juris Doctor degree.
In 2006, Mr. Gaskin joined the Law Firm of J. Sidney Flowers. Out of this union, Flowers and Gaskin, Attorneys at Law, P.C. was established where Mr. Gaskin remains in practice in the areas of real estate law and transactions, civil litigation as Plaintiff’s and Defendant’s Attorney, Criminal Defense Litigation, Family Law, Probate Law, Personal Injury, Tractor Trailer and Car Accident Litigation and Wrongful Death.
In addition to maintaining a private practice, in 2006 Mr. Gaskin was appointed as a Special Appointed Assistant District Attorney for the Atlantic Judicial Circuit where he was assigned as Prosecutor for the Juvenile Courts. Before returning exclusively to private practice, Mr. Gaskin served a Special Appointed Assistant District Attorney for eight years thereby serving the communities of six counties that comprise the Atlantic Judicial Circuit.
With consideration and compassion, Mr. Gaskin has aggressively represented his clients as lead counsel in the Probate Courts, Magistrate Courts, State and Superior Courts, Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for both the Southern District of Georgia and Northern District of Georgia. In addition to his Court experience, Mr. Gaskin has successfully represented clients in mediation and binding arbitration before the American Arbitration Association Board. Mr. Gaskin has vast experience in representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in many different areas of litigation, including, but not limited to, Civil Litigation as Plaintiffs and Defendants Attorney, Personal Injuries and Tortious Claims, Wrongful Death, Contract Disputes, Estate Planning Litigation and Landlord/Tenant disputes.
Further, Mr. Gaskin has extended his services and has served as associated counsel for many other Law Firms that request his assistance in concerning complex litigation matters.
Mr. Gaskin is a Veteran of the United States Military and proudly served during the Desert Storm conflict and for a period of twelve years before continuing to pursue his Juris Doctor by attending law school. He loves his country and the servicemen, servicewomen and their families who sacrifice so much for our Liberty, our Freedom and our Justice. The Liberty, Freedom and Justice that he vows to protect as an Attorney for each of his Clients.
J. Sidney Flowers practiced Law for over thirty-six years and many of those years as the Liberty County, Georgia State Court Solicitor General. He was dedicated to God, his family and his community. As Senior Partner, Great Mentor and Great Friend to Johnathan, He bestowed his values of professionalism and ethics upon Johnathan to teach him that the person who is in need of help in resolving a legal problem is the most important aspect of the legal profession. That consideration, kindness, love, and compassion towards others is the essence of demonstrating professionalism as a practicing Attorney. That the rewards of helping others far outweigh any financial gain. Although J. Sidney Flowers went home to be with the Lord in late 2006 and his leadership and presence is often missed, Johnathan continues to follow the values and beliefs of his Mentor and Friend, Attorney J. Sidney Flowers.

Francis Colon is one of the most proficient Paralegals in the field of Real Estate transaction. As a dedicated employee for over Five years, Mrs. Colon not only deals with Real Estate transactions but is tasked with the responsibility of maintaining court dockets, scheduling appointments, preparing legal documentations and maintain communications with the Clients in matters of litigation.
